Over the past four months in office, the Trump administration has detained people for their constitutionally protected political speech, threatened to deport American citizens, and come up to the line with defying the courts. Now, President Trump is attempting to write himself a blank check to use the military not only in Los Angeles – where just this weekend, he sent the National Guard to crack down on people protesting ICE – but also in other cities where people speak out against similar dangerous ICE raids.
