Donald Trump is trying to sneak another $1 billion in laser-guided precision kill rockets to Israel.1
This, while Israel has launched a Gaza-style scorched earth campaign in Lebanon, carpet-bombing entire villages and destroying essential civilian infrastructure with the goal of making huge swaths of the country uninhabitable.
Over one million people — 20% of Lebanon's entire population — have been displaced, while thousands have been killed or injured.2
Enough is enough. The American people overwhelmingly oppose using our tax dollars to fund Netanyahu's genocidal wars, and over the last 18 months, the number of senators on our side has nearly tripled.3,4 Now we must ramp up the pressure and stop Trump's latest weapons deal for Israel.
Israel's defense minister openly pledged that "the fate of southern Lebanon will be the same as that of Gaza," where Israel has killed at least 75,000 people, the majority women and children, and reduced the entire civilian infrastructure to rubble.5,6
Oxfam has confirmed that Israel is "using the Gaza playbook in Lebanon," destroying water infrastructure, electricity networks, and bridges, while "cutting off vital supplies and services for entire towns and villages."7
None of this could be happening without the United States funding and supporting Netanyahu's war machine.
But over the past two years, we've helped drive a sea change in public opinion, as a majority of Americans now oppose military aid for Israel. Now we need to keep flooding Capitol Hill with phone calls and petition signatures to stop Trump's latest $1 billion arms shipment for Netanyahu.

TELL Congress: Trump approved an "emergency" shipment of nearly $1 billion in weapons to support Israel's genocidal violence in Lebanon and Gaza. Our elected leaders must take a stand for justice and reject this arms deal.
Sign the petition: Block Trump's precision kill weapons shipment to Israel. Stop fueling Israel's atrocities in Gaza and Lebanon! Israel is destroying villages, killing medics, and occupying large parts of southern Lebanon, despite a so-called ceasefire — in fact, Israeli strikes are intensifying.1,2
"The fate of southern Lebanon will be the same as that of Gaza," said the Israeli defense minister recently — openly threatening atrocities against the people of Lebanon while championing Israel's genocide in Gaza.3
Trump is rushing an "emergency" shipment of 10,000 laser-guided precision kill rockets to Israel,4 but Congress can still undo Trump's unilateral decision and block the deal.
Israel says it's executing the "Gaza model" in Lebanon. It's a genocidal threat, and a disturbing reminder of Israel's destruction of Gaza and the suffering of Palestinians.
For Israel, "Gaza was not enough. Iran was not enough," Senator Bernie Sanders said recently. Now, Netanyahu and Israel's military are "waging a full-blown war of expansion against Lebanon."6
Trump is trying to send Israel $1 billion worth of weapons, including 10,000 rockets equipped with the U.S.'s Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System.6 Congress must halt this sale and stop Trump from continuing to break domestic and international law to fuel Israel's violence.

In this week’s news from the Eastern Churches, produced in collaboration with L’Œuvre d’Orient, we look at the attacks on Christian communities in southern Lebanon.
In Lebanon last Friday, a convent and a former school belonging to the Salvatorian Sisters were destroyed by the Israeli army. This is not an isolated case. In 2024, Melkite churches in Yaroun and Derdghaya, which are listed as Lebanese cultural heritage sites, were been destroyed.. Caught in the crossfire between Hezbollah and the Israeli army, some Christian villages have also been razed and emptied of their inhabitants, including Qawzah and Alma el Chaab. Many Lebanese say this is an attempt to make sure that civilians can never return.
The Council of Melkite Greek Catholic Bishops in Lebanon recently warned that “Churches, schools, and homes are not just stones. To attack these places is to strike at human dignity itself.”
The Council is calling on the Lebanese government, the United Nations, and the international community to protect civilians, their property, and their religious institutions, so that these villages are not silently condemned to oblivion.
MY E MAILS TO REP SUBRAMANYAN D-VA 10TH, SEN WARNER D-VA AND SEN KAINE D-VA.
THE genocide of Muslim and Christian Palestinians by the Israeli "Defense" Forces and Israeli settlers in the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Gaza has expanded to Southern Lebanon with an intense vengeance and brutality thanks to American supplied weapons and ammunition. There is nothing Christian and nothing American about supporting and tolerating Israel's genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity. I expect you to publicly oppose and take all available options to stop the drumpf / trump-vance administration's current plans to allow approximately $1 billion of US weapons and ammunition to Israel and to prevent future shipments until Israel stops the IDF and Israeli settlers from committing genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes.
Thank you,
