Third ‘No Kings’ nationwide protest planned for Saturday, 28 March 2026

I have participated in several of the educational / informational protest organized by Indivisible in Loudoun County, VA and in the first two 'No Kings' protest organized by Indivisible in Leesburg, VA in 2025. I will be participating in the third 'No Kings' on Saturday, 28 March 2026  in Loudoun County or in Washington, D.C., I haven't decided which one yet. Find a 'No Kings' protest to attend here and remember DEMOCRACY IS NOT A SPECTATOR SPORT!!! From the 'No Kings' page " A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events." More info available at 'No Kings' . This from Politico.....

Third ‘No Kings’ nationwide protest planned for March
By Cheyanne M. Daniels

The group behind the nationwide “No Kings” protests are planning their fourth demonstration of President Donald Trump’s second term — and are anticipating even greater turnout than their earlier rallies.

Ezra Levin, a rally organizer and the co-founder of the progressive group Indivisible, said in an interview that the planned third “No Kings” protest on March 28 is in response to a “secret police force terrorizing American communities.”

“It is unfortunately not a surprise to us that this lawless police force is committing crimes all across the country and that people are standing up to it,” said Levin. “Our goal is safeguarding American democracy, protecting our communities and the people who are under threat by this regime.”

Nationwide protests have become a staple of both of President Donald Trump’s terms. Indivisible estimated 3 million protesters turned out for its “Hands Off” rally in April 2025, while 5 million showed up in June as part of the first “No Kings” protest and 7 million for the second “No Kings” demonstration in October.

Organizers said they are aiming for nearly 9 million people to turn out in March.

Levin said that Indivisible had been planning the upcoming protest since before Renee Good was shot and killed by an immigration officer in Minnesota earlier this month, calling what is unfolding in the Midwestern state is “tragic and horrific.” A second person, Alex Pretti, was killed by Border Patrol agents on Saturday not far from where Good died.

Still, Levin said, it is “inspiring and gives me hope that while this regime and many political leaders even outside this regime are cowards or fascist sympathizers, people on the ground aren’t putting up with it.”

Trump and his GOP allies have not been fans of the demonstrations. Ahead of the October marches — which took place amid the government shutdown — Speaker Mike Johnson called them “hate America” rallies, and Trump’s “war room” account posted a mocking picture of the president wearing a crown.

Levin said the organizers are taking safety precautions, including holding de-escalation training sessions. On Monday, the group held a session on non-violent documentation techniques for the public. And at the last “No Kings” protest, Levin said Indivisible trained thousands of volunteer marshals, emphasizing non-violent principles.

The tactics have a proven track record, Levin argued, with major cities reporting zero arrests during the last “No Kings” demonstration.

Still, Levin said, he can’t guarantee there aren’t risks to participating.

“Based on how the regime is behaving, the fact of the matter is, everybody should worry about it,” he said. “I can’t guarantee that there isn’t a risk involved to show up and exercise your constitutional rights. It’s a terrible thing to have to say in 2026 in America, but it’s the truth.”

MAGA Senator Melts Down With Cruel Threat Against U.S. Olympians 9FEB26

NEO-NAZI fascist fotze trunts NOT MY pres drumpf / trump arschkriecher sen ricki scott r-FL and rep byron donalds r-FL verbally attack American Olympians in Milan who dare voice any critical opinion about the drumpf / trump-vance administration's and the gop / greed over people-republican party while declaring America as "a beacon of freedom and democracy"! They might as well follow these verbal attacks with 'yes, I am a hypocrite'. Pathetic loud-mouth no class, hypocritical right wing social media arschsaugen like jakie paul, kiddie rock and megyn kkkelly joined these pathetic fascist authoritarian politicians in their attacks against members of the US Olympic Team. Fascist fotze trunt sen ricki scott wants these Olympians striped of their uniforms. Maybe congress needs to check for his name in the epstein files and client list? Disgusting. This from The Daily Beast....

Sen. Rick Scott suggested taking harsh steps against members of Team USA.

Florida Senator Rick Scott raged that U.S. athletes at the Olympics who criticize representing their country should be stripped of their uniforms.

His post Monday was the latest demand from MAGA lawmakers and influencers who are losing it over athletes on Team USA voicing disapproval of their home country on the world stage as they compete in Italy.

Scott did not specify who exactly had ticked him off, but his message was clear.

“Representing the United States—a beacon for freedom and democracy—at the Olympics is an honor. Anyone who feels otherwise should be stripped of their USA Olympic uniform," Scott wrote on X with his video.

He wasn’t the only MAGA diehard to whine about members of Team USA. Florida Congressman Byron Donalds blasted Hess for disavowing what was happening in the U.S. with a post on X.

“YOU chose to wear our flag.YOU chose to represent our country.YOU chose to compete at the @Olympics," Donalds wrote. “If that’s too hard for you, then GO HOME. Some things are bigger than politics. You just don’t get it.”

Trump also raged at Hess as a “real Loser” in his own Truth Social post Sunday in which he said if he didn’t want to represent the U.S., he “shouldn’t have tried out for the Team.”

U.S. athletes who criticized the situation in the states were also met with fierce backlash from Trump’s MAGA supporters, who sounded off on social media even as the U.S. begins raking in medals.

Some called for Hess to be disqualified for his comments made during a press conference.

Pro-Trump wrestler Jake Paul chimed in with what he claimed was from all “true Americans,” writing: “If you don’t want to represent this country go live somewhere else.”

Right-wing media personality Megyn Kelly ranted that it was “bulls--t” for athletes to “go overseas, REPRESENTING America, wearing an American uniform, in a fierce competition against other countries - some with the worst human rights records on earth - and bash the US.”

But critics were quick to push back that it was athletes’ First Amendment right to speak out while others also noted that Trump has done something similar by slamming his own country while traveling abroad.

It comes as multiple U.S. athletes have spoken out about the challenges of representing the U.S. as the country grapples with unrest, including ICE violence and killings on the street.

Freestyle skier Chris Lillis referenced ICE and said he was “heartbroken” over what’s happening in the U.S.

Figure skater Amber Glenn spoke out about the LGBTQ+ community facing a hard time under Trump.

Skier Hunter Hess told reporters representing the U.S. brings up “mixed emotions” and just because he’s wearing the U.S. flag does not mean he represents “everything that’s going on in the U.S.”

“Any person who goes to the Olympics to represent the United States and then says they don’t want to represent the United States should be immediately stripped of their Olympic uniform,” Scott declared in his video.
