THIS shows just how stupid these right wing bloggers and all who shared this post as the truth are. IF Maxine Waters was president she wouldn't be able to impeach donald drumpf/trump because he would not be president. AND only Congress can impeach the president. DUH, REALLY, DUH!!!! BIG surprise these people watch fox faux news! These people need to pull their heads out of their asses. From PolitiFact.....

Maxine Waters
U.S. House of Representatives, D-Calif.

Say Maxine Waters told CNN’s Anderson Cooper that her first act as president would be to "impeach Donald Trump."

Say Maxine Waters told CNN’s Anderson Cooper that her first act as president would be to "impeach Donald Trump."

No, Maxine Waters did not say she would impeach Donald Trump if she were president

This meme has been circulating widely on social media.
Maxine Waters may be just one of 435 members of Congress, but President Donald Trump has elevated the profile of the California Democrat.
In March, at a campaign rally in southwestern Pennsylvania, Trump called Waters — a fierce opponent and the president’s ideological opposite — "a very low-I.Q. individual."
"You ever see her?" Trump continued, to boos aimed at Waters. "You ever seen her? You ever see her? 'We will impeach him! We will impeach the president!' But he hasn't done anything wrong. ‘It doesn't matter, we will impeach him!’ She's a low I.Q. individual. You can't help it. She really is."
Given Waters’ role as a foil for Trump, she has become fodder for social media posts by Trump’s allies.
One we came across was the following post that appeared on May 15, 2018, on the Facebook page "Judge Jeanine Pirro has Fans." This Facebook group bills itself as an independent fan page for Pirro, a Fox News host who is closely allied with Trump.
According to the Facebook group’s "about" page, "Judge Jeanine Pirro is out spoken and always on target. This site will expound on what the Judge is talking about and report what mainstream media won't." The group counted 713,110 followers when we first saw the post.
The post shows what appeared to be a screenshot of a CNN appearance by Waters with host Anderson Cooper. The chyron at the bottom of the screen said, "Maxine Waters 2020," and the meme offered the following dialogue:
Anderson: "If elected what would your first act as President be?"
Waters: "Well Anderson, I would impeach Donald Trump."
The group shared the image by saying, "And we pay her a salary!"
The problem: Waters never said anything of the sort.
The image appears to be from a real newscast on April 19, 2017, when Cooper interviewed Waters about Bill O’Reilly’s departure from Fox News.
But the chyron "Maxine Waters 2020" is fake. The original chyron said, "Bill O’Reilly Out at Fox News."
The meme aims to make it look like Waters actually said that she would impeach Trump if elected president, which would be nonsensical. Obviously, there would be no need to impeach Trump if she either defeated him or succeeded him after he left office. Also, it’s up to Congress to impeach the president.
Waters has called for investigations that could lead to Trump’s impeachment, but on several occasions — including an interview with the platform Cheddar and a rally at the U.S. Capitol — she called for Trump’s impeachment directly. When she denied on MSNBC in April 2017 that she had called for Trump’s impeachment, we rated her claim Pants on Fire.
We found no evidence that Waters is seriously considering a run for president. While she has occasionally joked about it, she shot down the idea during an appearance on The View in August 2017. (Her office did not respond to an inquiry for this article; nor did the administrator for the Pirro fan site)
Snopes.com noted that the meme appeared elsewhere before the Pirro fan site picked it up. The faked dialogue seems to have initially started as a joke in a May 11 tweet, and a version with the Cooper-Waters visual was retweeted May 14 by Fox News host Brian Kilmeade (he added: "genius"), earning more than 900 retweets and more than 3,000 likes.
Our ruling
Viral social media posts said Maxine Waters told CNN’s Anderson Cooper that her first act as president would be to "impeach Donald Trump."
This exchange never happened; it appears to have emerged as a joke that was eventually attached to a screenshot of an unrelated interview. In any case, the comments are nonsensical and may have more to do with making Waters look unintelligent than with the actual impeachment process.
We rate it Pants on Fire.

Fake news: A Georgia mosque did NOT divert Harvey donations to Syrian refugees 7SEP17

Image result for IMAGE FOR FAKE NEWS

Fake news: A Georgia mosque did NOT divert Harvey donations to Syrian refugees

The text tag for this photo said "Just some Muslims with boxes but you see evil." (Screengrab)
Pure fabrication lies behind a story flagged by Facebook users about a Georgia mosque sending Hurricane Harvey donations to Syrian refugees. A website called As American as Apple Pie posted this headline on Sept. 7: "Georgia Mosque KEEPS Hurricane Harvey Donations, Will Send To Syrian Refugees Instead."
The item cited Imam Sharaj Alkalb of the Ramazala Mosque in Peachton who allegedly said, "Because Donald Trump will not let victims of war and crime seek solitude in the United States, we can not in good conscience help his people when so many Muslims can not find shelter."
There is not a whisper of truth to this piece.
For starters, there is no Peachton, Ga.
A website named Salatomatic lists mosques around the country. There is no Ramazala Mosque in Georgia.
The article urges readers to "call the Ramazala Mosque at (330) 366-6476 and give them a piece of your mind." The 330 area code covers Akron, Ohio. The number is the same number as the one listed on the As American as Apple Pie Facebook page.
That Facebook page describes the website as an entertainment website launched in 2024.
A similar version of this story on another website claimed that police arrested Alkalb. That item quoted the "local newspaper, the Peachton Herald." That paper is as made up as the town of Peachton.
Our ruling
A self-described entertainment website posted a story that a Georgia mosque was diverting Hurricane Harvey donations to refugees from Syria. Neither the mosque nor the town it supposedly is in exist.
This is pure fake news. We rate it Pants on Fire.

"Justice John Roberts Signed Off On Obama’s Arrest For Treason." 1JUL14

THE lunatic fringe of the extreme right wing continues it's assault on Pres Obama, and this is one of the dumbest e mails being circulated in their hateful racist world. From +PolitiFact .....
The Truth-O-Meter Says:
Bloggers

"Justice John Roberts Signed Off On Obama’s Arrest For Treason."

Bloggers on Tuesday, July 1st, 2014 in various posts on the Internet

Did John Roberts issue an arrest warrant for Barack Obama over charges of treason?

In some corners, impeachment talk is running high these days. Sarah Palin, the former Republican nominee for vice president, wrote on her Facebook page on July 8, 2014, that "it’s time" to impeach President Barack Obama.
But a claim that’s been making the rounds in the conservative blogosphere over the past few months is even more startling. It says that John Roberts, the chief justice of the United States, has ordered Obama’s arrest for treason.
The claim appeared on numerous conservative websites in April and May, including here, here, here, here and here. In this item, we’ll check the version of the claim that appeared on May 1, 2014, in theuspatriot.com, a conservative website. (The website did not respond to a query from PolitiFact.)
The headline of the post says, "BREAKING: Report Circulating That Justice John Roberts Signed Off On Obama’s Arrest For Treason."
The rest of the post is not exactly transparently sourced, citing "serious speculation" and an unlinked-to "leaked document."
"There is some serious speculation that Chief Justice John Roberts has signed off on Interpol, which would mean that Obama is one step closer to being removed from office for multiple counts of treason," the post says. "Charges include infringements of the Second Amendment, and declaring war without consent of Congress, and some other serious violations of Obama’s Oath."
It goes on to cite a litany of alleged infractions by Obama, which we’ve archived here. The post on this site alone had received more than 237,000 Facebook likes at the time we looked into it.
Is there anything to this post? No, say legal experts, it’s entirely bunk. (The Supreme Court did not comment for this story, as is its general policy.)
For starters, the phrase "Chief Justice John Roberts has signed off on Interpol" is not even "coherent English, let alone a statement that makes any constitutional sense," said Stephen Wermiel, a law professor at American University’s Washington College of Law.
Moreover, the powers of the chief justice are far more limited than this blog post imagines, Wermiel and other legal experts said.
The chief justice "has no authority to sign off on a warrant of any kind," said Paul Finkelman, a law professor at Albany Law School.
About the only type of arrest the chief justice could set into motion would be to "direct the sergeant at arms to remove a disruptive member of the audience" at an oral argument in the Supreme Court building, said Kurt T. Lash, director of the program on constitutional theory, history and law at the University of Illinois.
"It would be a serious violation of separation of powers for the court as a whole to involve itself" in allegations of treason by the president, Lash said. "In cases where the president might refuse to follow a lawful directive of the court -- say, a failure to turn over Oval Office tapes -- the court would simply report the matter to Congress for their consideration of impeachment. The court itself would take no action against the president."
If the House did proceed to impeach the president, the Senate would hold a trial -- and at that point, the chief justice would enter the picture, as the presiding officer over the trial in the Senate chamber. But that’s quite different than the scenario the blog post lays out, since the chief justice would be entering the fray at the final stage of a president’s possible removal, not as the official initiating it.
"Given his longtime participation as an advocate before the Supreme Court before joining the bench, John Roberts would know this, as does pretty much everyone else," Lash said. The likelihood that this rumor is false, Lash said, "is 100 percent."
Our ruling
Bloggers said Roberts "signed off on Obama’s arrest for treason." But even if he wanted to, the Constitution wouldn’t allow it. We rate the claim Pants on Fire.
