GIMME SHELTER from PLAYING FOR CHANGE

Gimme Shelter

“Gimme Shelter” is a track that we have wanted to record for years, and today we can finally share it with you. This song expresses the urgency we all face to unite together as a planet, and offers us wisdom with the words “War, children, it's just a shot away... Love, sister, it's just a kiss away.”  It really is that simple.
This track is the latest song from our new album, PFC 2: Songs Around the World.  You can order your copy here.

Gimme Shelter UNHCR VIDEO

ANOTHER video for the UNHCR, this one more sobering, showing the work done by the agency in the DRC...think about this the next time you whine about wanting something you don't need, or complain about the taxes you pay going to foreign aid. I paid a total of $10,700 U.S. in federal income taxes in 2010, 1.7%, less than $200 U.S., went to foreign aid.
