JUST as I do my best not to buy things made in the prc so too I will not order anything from amazon because jeff bezos is not only a greedy pig, he is also a threat to our democratic Republic. bezos, with mark zuckerberg and sundar pichai, would like nothing more than for America to become an authoritarian oligarchy like putin's russia. bezos, zuckerberg and pichai are manipulating our mass media to control election advertising, buying politicians support and loyalty and cultivating the 1% to support his ascendancy to power. bezos, zuckerberg and pichai are refined, cultured drumpfs / trumps and must be treated as a true threat to America and the free world. Please sign this petition from Demand Progress calling on the 2020 presidential candidates to demand the FTC and the Justice Department to enforce existing anti-trust laws and end the monopolies these men and their companies hold. It will help if you e mail your senators and representative asking the same, I e mailed what I wrote in this post......

Big technology monopolies like Amazon, Google, and Facebook provide useful services, but their immense power and control have damaged democracy and the global economy.
Some 2020 presidential candidates have joined grassroots calls to break up big tech -- but not all the candidates are on board.1 We want to make sure that all candidates recognize that big tech monopolies are a serious threat to our democracy and economy. That’s why we’re calling on all candidates to commit to breaking up big tech if elected President.
The future of our democracy and economy shouldn’t be left to the whims of a few reckless billionaire CEOs and their tech monopolies.
Last year, nearly half of all of U.S. e-commerce went through Amazon.2 Amazon’s dominance crushes small businesses,3,4 and leads to poor working conditions for warehouse workers.5 Amazon’s massive physical footprint in Seattle has pushed low-income families and people of color out of their neighborhoods.6,7,8 Amazon technology helps ICE conduct immigration raids, and created the servers9,10 that helped ICE set up the Administration’s concentration camps.
Facebook and Google are so dominant, and have built algorithms that are so addictive, that more than 70% of all Internet traffic goes through Facebook and Google.11 Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg's decision to allow politicians to run ads with lies12 threatens to undermine the integrity of the 2020 elections and his pet currency project Libra threatens democracy13 -- and some experts say Libra could take down the entire global economy.14
Google is shattering competition by privileging access to its own services.15 Google makes its money by using your sensitive private information,16 deceptively tracks your location,17 has been blasted by human rights groups over human rights concerns in China,18 and has been credibly accused of covering up a culture of sexual harassment.19
Almost 70% of all digital ad money goes towards Google, Facebook, and Amazon20,21 — enriching these corporations while undermining the business model that used to fund serious journalism. Instead, serious journalism has been replaced by an ecosystem of disinformation and incendiary and anti-social content on these corporate platforms.
Big tech monopolies like Amazon, Facebook, and Google are too big to be managed responsibly. That’s why we have been fighting for the government to #BreakUpBigTech.
Tell 2020 candidates to fight back against dangerous corporate technology monopolies and reckless billionaire CEOs.
