SOCIAL DISTANCING: SIX FEET APART IS BETTER THAN SIX FEET UNDER!

THE PRC CORONAVIRUS FLAG IS A REMINDER OF THE PRC GOVERNMENT WHO UNLEASHED THIS PANDEMIC ON THE REST OF THE WORLD

THE drumpf / trump-pence administration is this nations worst enemy in our national struggle to deal with the coronavirus Covid 19 pandemic as proven in this post as well as here, herehere and here for just a few examples. Their ignorance is a danger to the health, welfare and security of the nation.  This on his dangerous narcissism from Mother Jones.....

More Than 2,000 Americans Have Died of the Coronavirus. Trump Is Tweeting About His TV Ratings.

More than 2,000 people in the United States are dead and at least 135,000 have confirmed cases of COVID-19. But President Donald Trump has decided to use his Sunday to tweet about his TV ratings. His White House press briefings are as popular as The Bachelor finale and Monday Night Football, he boasted in a series of tweets on Sunday:
Even for Trump, Sunday’s tweets feel exponentially out of touch with reality.
For weeks now, Trump’s daily press briefings have attracted an average of 8.5 million viewers on cable news. He uses the briefings to go on rants attacking the media and political opponents, and to share misinformation. News organizationsincluding Mother Jones, have urged TV networks to stop airing his press conferences live. Seattle’s NPR station KUOW made the decision to stop airing the briefings after observing a “pattern of false information and exaggeration.”
Only a reality TV president would brag about his popularity while the country is in the middle of a public health crisis. And, as my colleague pointed out in this ingenious video, Trump’s denial of the gravity of the situation sounds like the first act of pretty much every disaster movie ever written.
► For more, visit Mother Jones: https://www.motherjones.com/ If you were writing the next Hollywood disaster movie, you could construct a first act more or less by scanning the headlines from the past few weeks. We’ve got it all: workaday scientists racing to sound the alarm about a looming existential threat. Science-denying government officials ignoring those alarms. Heroes and helpers amidst the uncertainty. Gal Gadot singing for some reason. And of course, the president. Trump’s performance here has been a real tour de force. He seems to have modeled himself on those villainous politicians in every disaster movie. He's ignored experts, shifted the blame, repeatedly downplayed the threat, stoked racism, and spread misinformation. Watch our video to see how eerily similar Trump's approach has been to climate-denying officials in The Day After Tomorrow, the captain of the Titanic, and the spineless apparatchiks in charge of the response to Chernobyl. Thankfully we’ve begun to see a shift in some of the most visible skeptics. But remember: That’s only the start of Act Two. We still have a long way to go.

Trump vs World Leaders During a Global Pandemic

► For more, visit Mother Jones: https://www.motherjones.com/ Donald Trump has made inadequate and dangerous choices during the coronavirus pandemic. His botched response includes a failure to properly plan for the country’s testing needs, administration officials unsure how to provide adequate medical gear, and the active spreading of misinformation. It’s an embarrassing lack of leadership. As the coronavirus pandemic overwhelms health systems around the globe, world leaders have addressed their nations in solemn tones, urging people to stay inside to curb the spread of the virus, and assuring them that their countries will get through this crisis together. Meanwhile, President Trump has been belittling reporters, joking about the “Deep State,” and whining about being called a racist. The contrast is staggering. But hey, that’s just business as usual in the White House.
