August 6, 2012 Olympics fans' anger over NBC's decision to tape-delay and control web streaming seems to be based on more than the usual "this is the Internet, everything should be free" perspective. And many of them are finding ways to get around NBC's controls.

Protests Filed For Two Boxers After Questionable Calls By Referee(5)  (2)

August 6, 2012 Olympic boxing is mired in controversy at the 2012 Summer Games. Over the weekend, Belarus and Cuba filed protests about questionable decisions involving their fighters. During their matches, referees didn't penalize their opponents for holding.

U.S. Judo Athlete Delpopolo Disqualified Over Failed Drug Test(14)  (0)

August 6, 2012 American judo athlete Nick Delpopolo has been disqualified from the London 2012 Games, after failing a drug test, according to the International Olympic Committee. The 23-year-old Delpopolo tested positive for the substance THC, found in marijuana.

Mustafina Wins Gold In Uneven Bars, As 'Drained' Douglas Struggles(16)  (9)

Aliya Mustafina of Russia won gold in the women's uneven bars final at the London 2012 Olympics Monday. American Gabby Douglas came in eighth.
August 6, 2012 Gymnast Aliya Mustafina of Russia has won the 2012 Olympic gold medal in the uneven bars, standing atop the podium in a highly competitive event that also featured American star Gabby Douglas, defending medalist He Kexin of China, and British favorite Beth Tweddle.

August 6, 2012 U.S. rifle shooter Matthew Emmons has won a bronze medal in the 50-meter three positions rifle event. That may sound like a slight let-down for the man who had been poised to win silver — a horrible final shot of 7.6 dropped him into third place — but it's far better than Emmons' earlier Olympic experiences.

August 5, 2012 Leaders of the Badminton World Federation say they'll take action later to avoid future problems. Four women's doubles pairs appeared to deliberately play poorly in their matches last week. They were disqualified.
