Trump, Stephen Miller, and Kash Patel are using a dangerous national security memo called NSPM-7 to attack people who speak out against the White House.1 Masked government agents are already arresting people at anti-ICE protests and for social media posts about “Antifa.”2 NSPM-7 directs the full powers of the Trump administration to investigate people who hold so-called “extreme” beliefs on gender, race, or immigration, or have political views that the White House labels as "anti-capitalism," "anti-Christianity," or "anti-Americanism."3 The memo aims to label opposition to Trump’s policies as “domestic terrorism.” Trump’s thugs are weaponizing the federal government to silence dissent. It’s unconstitutional. It’s dangerous. It shows that the Trump regime is willing to persecute anyone who criticizes its authoritarian policies — whether at an ICE protest, a No Kings rally, or while expressing left-of-center political views online. Trump’s loyalists are even creating a new domestic terror “watchlist” as part of NSPM-7.4 The ACLU called the memo a “fever dream of conspiracies.”5 It’s an all-out push to criminalize speech and throw dissenters in prison. Rep.
