Our Holiday Wish for Visa 12DEZ19

VISA refuses to take action to help prevent gun violence and mass shootings. It will be ironic if the executives at visa who made this decision someday experience gun violence by someone who may not have been able to carry out their plan if visa had acted to flag erratic gun purchases. Watch the video and tweet if you can, I did. From SumOfUs......

Thanks to all who signed the petition urging Visa to help stop the next mass shooting. Your signatures got us a meeting with Visa, but the company executives are still refusing to help save lives. That is why we need your help now.
We just launched a heartbreaking holiday video to shine a light on Visa’s dangerous decision not to flag erratic gun purchases. The more people who see the video and share it, the more likely it is that Visa will be forced to finally take action to help stop mass shootings.
Share this video on Twitter demanding that Visa do the right thing and help prevent more bloodshed.
Not on Twitter? No problem: watch and share on Facebook instead.

Two thirds of the decade’s deadliest shootings were financed using credit cards. That means companies like Visa have a unique and powerful opportunity to notice warning signs and take action before violence erupts.
It’s clear that you care about ending the gun violence epidemic in the US, and Visa has heard you. Which is why you can’t stop now. It is up to you to make sure that the company takes concrete action before more families’ loved ones are gunned down at school, their church, or their synagogue.
Send a tweet saying that all you want for the holiday season is for Visa to do its part to save lives.
If you're not on Twitter, you can still speak out by sharing this video on Facebook.
Thanks for all that you do,
Lacey, Miranda, Reem and the team at SumOfUs
