No Fed Action Planned, but Oregon Militia Loons Post Hilarious "Goodbye" Videos & Ammon Bundy, like his father before him, hates the Fed except when taking money from the Fed & White Privilege and the Bundy Brigand Militia "Standoff" in Oregon 3&4JAN16

"Your daddy swore an oath..." LoL
OH MY GOSH, check out this video of ammosexual jon ritzheimer in his psychotic good-bye video to his family as he leaves to join the traitors occupying the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon. What a drippings!!!! Followed by an article exposing the bundy family hypocrisy on accepting help from the Federal government and one pointing out again the difference in law enforcement's response to Blacks and Whites with guns. From +Daily Kos and +Mother Jones .....

Law enforcement agencies announced zero plans Sunday to do anything about the armed siege of a federal building in a small town in Oregon, as the insane takeover by a self-described militia continued for the second day.
www.nydailynews.com/…
Nevertheless, the ammosexual brigade is so prepared to die on this manufactured hill, some have posted “goodbye” videos, which are maybe the funniest things of 2016. Here is one from known freedum doofus, Jon Ritzheimer:

Wow — Daddy couldn’t be home for Christmas OR New Year’s because of this idiocy? Looks like there’s a fine line between "defending the Constitution” and hating spending time with the family.

Militiaman Jon Ritzheimer posts 'goodbye' video to family

A group of militiamen on Saturday occupied the headquarters of a national wildlife refuge in Oregon in support of two brothers who are slated to report to prison on Monday on arson charges - and the protesters don't plan on leaving any time soon, saying it's 'kill or be killed' time.
Militia members claimed to have as many as 150 supporters with them at the Malheur National Wildlife refuge building in Princeton, which is federal property managed by the US Fish and Wildlife Service that was closed for the holiday weekend.
They later rescinded the number and said they would not disclose how many people were in the building, because of 'operational security'. Local reporters have said that there only appears to be a dozen cars outside of the building.
'We're planning on staying here for years, absolutely,' Ammon Bundy, one of the occupiers, told the Oregonian via telephone. ‘This is not a decision we've made at the last minute.'
Ammon Bundy and his brother Ryan, who is another occupier, are the sons of of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, who was involved in a 2014 standoff with the government over grazing rights.
The occupation came shortly after 300 marchers paraded through Burns, Oregon, about 50 miles away, to protest at the prosecution of father and son Harney County ranchers Dwight Hammond Jr and Steven Hammond, who were ordered returned to prison by a federal court which ruled their original sentences were insufficient.
The group is demanding that the Hammonds be released and that the federal government give up control of the Malheur National Forest.

Goddamn federal government! Helping people with loans!
Ammon Bundy runs a Phoenix-based company called Valet Fleet Services LLC, which specializes in repairing and maintaining fleets of semitrucks throughout Arizona. On April 15, 2010—Tax Day, as it happens—Bundy's business borrowed $530,000 through a Small Business Administration loan guarantee program. The available public record does not indicate what the loan was used for or whether it was repaid. The SBA website notes that this loan guarantee was issued under a program "to aid small businesses which are unable to obtain financing in the private credit marketplace." The government estimated that this subsidy could cost taxpayers $22,419. Bundy did not respond to an email request for comment about the SBA loan.
Awwwwwwwwkwaaaaaaaaaaaard.

As I suggested in a piece at Salon, if these people were Muslim or black they would be dead. The State would have called down merciless violence to immolate the "terrorists" or "radicals". The corporate news media would have supported this narrative. Fox News would be insane with rage and fear about "black thugs and militants" as well as "Muslim terrorists" who are Americans that were somehow "radicalized" by "extremists".
[The mainstream corporate news media is continuing to coddle and "whitewash" the cosplay cowboy terrorists in Oregon with headlines such as: "Armed anti-government protesters"; "Armed Occupiers"; and "Oregon Group". The race of Bundy's insurrectionists has not been mentioned because they are "white", i.e. "real Americans". Whiteness and white privilege enable racial erasure for white people. In contrast, they mark people of color as less than, the Other, and non-white.]
White privilege is a universal tool, a Swiss Army knife of sorts in American life. The behavior of Bundy's Brigands--and the State's deescalation and non-response--is just one more sign of what most reasonable and intelligent people already know.
There is a powerful editorial cartoon which highlights the hypocrisy of white privilege and the color line that is exemplified by how a 12-year-old child named Tamir Rice was executed in the street by the Cleveland police for the "crime" of playing with a toy gun while white men who are armed with real assault rifles and make terrorist and insurrectionist threats against the federal government go unharmed.
I shared this cartoon via social media with the following comment:
150 armed white men who take over federal property in Oregon are "patriots" or a "militia" while 1 black kid with a toy gun named Tamir Rice is a "threat" who is killed in less than 2 seconds by a cop. Sometimes it is just that simple.
My Facebook link has since gone viral with tens of thousands of "likes" and "shares" since Sunday afternoon.
As such language often does, the sentence "Sometimes it is just that simple" obscures more than it reveals.
The divergence in how the State treats black and brown people as compared to white folks is very real. White privilege in this context does (quite literally) determine life outcomes and life chances. But, white privilege also intersects with other categories of identity as well. In all, white privilege--as an extension of how white supremacy functions in a quotidian manner--is part of a racist American (as well as global) culture.
White privilege has protected Bundy's Brigands in Oregon from violent retaliation by the State.
Bundy's Brigands are also protected because they are Right-wing products of the Republican Party and the Fox News hate media echo chamber. If Bundy's Brigands were liberals or progressives they would be treated very differently by the United States government and the corporate news media.
Bundy's Brigands are also white men with guns. White ammosexual identity is protected by the National Rifle Association, the Republican Party, and the Right-wing media. These gun deviants are given the honorifics of "patriots" and "militia members".
Bundy's Brigands are also an example of how certain economic interests are protected in America. If this group of terrorist insurrectionists had staged their "standoff" at Wall Street for example, they would have been beaten up, arrested, and disappeared by the police, private security forces, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
The rhetoric of capitalism and the iconic and empty Americana images of the yeoman farmer and cowboy are also operative in the "Oregon Standoff" as well. If Bundy's Brigands were talking about fighting for a more fair and equal democracy, forming grange organizations, people's economic collectives and banks, or how corporate farms and the 1 percent have stolen public resources to fatten their own wallets, the response by the State and the media would be very, very, different. Those "radicals" would still be above ground--maybe--but they would not be free people.
Bundy's Brigands are beneficiaries of several types of privilege. White privilege is the most central and important of their unearned advantages and life opportunities. But, to truly understand race and the color line in a sophisticated way, we must also take an accounting of power and inequality as a system of relationships and being cautious of being too narrow in how we analyze society and politics.

The Chilling Anti-Government, Cliven Bundy-Loving Facebook Posts& videos of the Alleged Las Vegas Shooters 9JUN14

THE relentless anti-government propaganda from tea-baggers in office, right wing fanatics like oath keepers, the right wing media and white supremacist hate groups has and will continue to inspire more violence against the police and other government officials. Anyone who supports these people supports their violence and attacks on our police, government officials and our government. Anyone who supports these people has the blood of the murdered police officers in Las Vegas on their hands and will share the responsibility of further bloodshed by these people. This is home grown terrorism rooted in racism, prejudice, hatred, and ignorance, and are a greater threat to our Republic, our Constitution, than any of those who have been held by our government in Gitmo could ever be. From +Mother Jones .....

Jerad and Amanda Miller's Facebook and YouTube likes included the NRA, Rand Paul, FreedomWorks, and other right-wing champions—and videos justifying the killing of police officers.

| Mon Jun. 9, 2014 1:01 PM EDT

The suspects in Sunday's shooting spree in Las Vegas that claimed the lives of two police officers and a shopper were a young married couple who espoused extreme pro-gun and anti-government views on their Facebook pages and who had spent time at the ranch of Cliven Bundy, whose standoff with the federal government made him a cause celebre in the so-called "patriot" movement.
The suspects, who killed themselves at the scene of their shooting rampage, have been identified as Jerad and Amanda Miller.
In a chilling Facebook message published a day before the shootings, Jerad Miller declared, "The dawn of a new day. May all of our coming sacrifices be worth it."
Jerad Miller was eager to support Bundy, who was confronted by federal officials after years of refusing to pay grazing fees. On April 9, he wrote on Facebook:
I will be supporting Clive Bundy and his family from Federal Government slaughter. This is the next Waco! His ranch is under seige right now! The federal gov is stealing his cattle! Arresting his family and beating on them! We must do something. I will be doing something.
During his time on Bundy's ranch, he told a reporter: "I feel sorry for any federal agents that want to come in here and try to push us around or anything like that. I really don't want violence toward them, but if they're gonna come bring violence to us, if that's the language they want to speak, we'll learn it." Not long after the couple made their pilgrimage to Bundy's ranch, Miller noted on Facebook that he and his wife were asked to leave because of his criminal past:
I was out there but they told me and my wife to leave because I am a felon. They don't seem to understand that they are all felons now for intimidating law enforcement with deadly weapons. So don't tell you that they need people. We sold everything we had to buy supplies and quit our jobs to be there 24/7. How dare you ask for help and shun us dedicated patriots.
Jerad Miller's Facebook "likes" include the NRA, American Patriot Media Network, Support the 2nd Amendment, The Patriot Party, Rand Paul 2016, Ron Paul, the Washington Examiner, Legalize Weed, Draft Judge Andrew Napolitano, the Heritage Foundation, FreedomWorks, American Crossroads, and Allen West.
In a June 2 Facebook post—something of a manifesto—Jerad Miller indicated that he supported the arguments of the anti-government patriot movement that claims freedom and liberty in the United States are currently threatened. He wrote:
We can hope for peace. We must, however, prepare for war. We face an enemy that is not only well funded, but who believe they fight for freedom and justice. Those of us who know the truth and dare speak it, know that the enemy we face are indeed our brothers. Even though they share the same masters as we all do. They fail to recognize the chains that bind them. To stop this oppression, I fear, can only be accomplished with bloodshed. May the best men of our beloved nation stand and fight tyranny, without fear and without regret. May we stand proud as free men instead of kneeling as slaves. May we offer our children a free and just world with our blood, sweat and tears as payment. Let our wives and lovers take vengeance upon our enemies in our absence. We cannot fail in this endeavor of Liberty, if we do we risk leaving our orphaned children to the will of tyrants. We, cannot with good conscience leave this fight to our children, because the longer we wait, our enemies become better equipped and recruit more mercenaries of death, willing to do a tyrants bidding without question. I know you are fearful, as am I. We certainly stand before a great and powerful enemy. I, however would rather die fighting for freedom, than live on my knees as a slave. Let it be known to our children's children that free men stood fast before a tyrants wrath and were found victorious because we stood together. That we all cast aside our petty differences and united under the banner of Liberty and Truth. May future generations look back upon this time in history with awe and gratitude, for our courage to face tyranny, so that they could live happy and free.
A few days later, Miller shared a photo that proclaimed, "The police have never attacked a pro gun rally."
On her YouTube page, Amanda Miller liked videos called, "Shooting Cops," "Citizens Can Shoot Police," and "When Is It Okay To Shoot a Cop." She posted a video of Jerad Miller interviewing people at the Bundy ranch. Her Facebook page contains photos of a woman posing with guns and she shared a picture of the "best coffee table ever"—it was a table with a drawer full of guns.

VIDEO; An Idahoan shows Bundy what a real Western rancher is & Idaho ranching and conservation giant Purdy dies at 96 16&15APR14

Leonard "Bud" Purdy
cliven bundy has been all over the news of late. Darling of hate groups, white supremest, neo-cons, tea-baggers, basically people who are terrorist, warlords, Third World despot wannabees. bundy and his kind are a threat to our Republic, and we, the people are demanding they be dealt with within the law, and for them to be brought to justice now. Here is the story of Bud Purdy, who died at 96 years old the week of 13 APR 14. Bud, his family and the was his ranch was run and will continue to be run is enough to put the cliven bundys of America to shame.

An Idahoan shows Bundy what a real Western rancher is

Bud Purdy was so revered in Idaho that even a bunch of Republicans pay tribute to him.
Being a Westerner and the daughter and granddaughter of cattle ranchers, I think it's about time that the non-crazy Western ranchers get some equal national media time. Because they're not all federal government-hating, "wise use," sagebrush rebelling, gun-toting crazies—even in a state like Idaho. One of Idaho's most influential cattle ranchers and conservationists is proof of that. His name was Bud Purdy, and in his 96 years, he became sort of a legend in the state. Unfortunately, he passed away this week, but this remembrance from the Idaho Stateman's Rocky Barker tells the story.
Purdy, 96, led the ranching industry into rest and rotation grazing on public lands that both protected the range and improved cattle production. He duck-hunted and skied with Ernest Hemingway and hosted Jimmy Stewart and Gary Cooper at his Picabo Ranch. He helped start the Idaho Cattle Association, led the University of Idaho Foundation as president and was chairman of the Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry. In addition to the ranch, he and his late wife Ruth owned the Picabo Store, the Picabo Elevator and Silver Creek Supply, a seed business. […]
Purdy donated a 3,500-acre conservation easement on all of the ranch along Silver Creek in the 1990s to the Nature Conservancy, adjacent to its own Silver Creek Preserve. Purdy didn’t even take the tax break on the easement valued at $7 million. […]
He loved the cattle business, he explained to writer, producer and author Steve Stuebner in an article in 2012 for the Idaho Rangeland Commission (which he co-founded). "Every morning, you get up and do something different," he said. "You turn out on the range and ride a horse every day. Even now, I go out and make sure the water is OK, check the fences and make sure the gates are closed.
"It's just a constant going out there and doing it," Purdy said. "I was never a cowboy, but I've ridden a million miles."
As one of my good friends here in Idaho wrote on Facebook, "He loved his land so much he owned it and when owning it wasn't enough to preserve it for future generations, he figured out a way to do that." Cliven Bundy doesn't represent the West. He doesn't represent cattle ranchers. He represents a minority of right-wing cranks who are good at making a lot of noise through threats of violence. He's also nothing more than a common crook.
If you're looking for an emblematic man of the West, it's not Bundy. It's Bud Purdy.

Butch Otter. “I don’t know whether Bud was a religious man, but there was nobody with as much faith in his fellow man.”

Purdy was born in Beatrice Nebraska Jan. 2, 1918 He spend the summers on the ranch of his grandfather, W.H. Kilpatrick, who established the ranch along Silver Creek. He graduated from Washington State University and returned to the take over management of the ranch in 1938.
He is survived by his sister Margaret Struthers of Twin Falls, his three sons, Nick, Mark and Gordon and his daughter Kris Wenslawski. His wife Ruth died in 2006.
His burial will be private but a celebration of his life is set at the Limelight Room in the Challenger Inn at Sun Valley, May 4 at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers friends are asked to contribute to the St. Lukes, University of Idaho or the College of Southern Idaho foundations.
“His passing is a loss for all of us, but it’s an even bigger loss for the next generation who won’t have the benefit of his wisdom and good will,” Otter said.

With Investigations in Nevada and Utah, BLM Moves to Quell Rising Antigovernment Ire 16MAI14

The Hatewatch blog is managed by the staff of the Intelligence Project of the Southern Poverty Law Center, an Alabama-based civil rights organization.

THESE "patriots" challenging the BLM with weapons are terrorist, no different than al qadea or boko haram. They would have willingly killed US government officials if outgunned BLM agents had tried to take further action. This is further proof of the assault on our Republic by agents and supporters of the right wing fanatics of the Tea Party. Allowing those who have broken the law, who threatened federal agents with deadly force must be brought to justice unless we, as a nation, are ready to accept becoming like Mexico, Lebanon or Nigeria, where militants and warlords control areas of the nation with impunity. Our government has the responsibility to the rest of us to enforce the law and stop these people before some innocent civilian on federal public land or a federal agent doing their job is killed.

With Investigations in Nevada and Utah, BLM Moves to Quell Rising Antigovernment Ire

bureau-land-management
The federal Bureau of Land Management kept a low public profile in the weeks following the armed standoff at Cliven Bundy’s Nevada ranch, where the government backed down in the face of opposition from heavily armed militiamen. But this week the agency took to the airwaves to promise that such incidents would not go unpunished.
Speaking with National Public Radio, BLM director Neil Kornze said the agency was intent on working through the legal system to address those who broke the law on April 12 when heavily armed antigovernment militias forced BLM to suspend a court-ordered roundup of rancher Cliven Bundy’s cattle from roughly 600,000 acres of public lands. Photos and eyewitness accounts from the standoff indicate that the militiamen trained their guns on federal agents.
“I can’t say a lot because there’s an active investigation going on, but we are working hard to insure that those who did break the law are held accountable,” Kornze said on Monday’s episode of The Diane Rehm Show. “We are going to work through the legal system.”
“Some folks did break the law,” and they “are working hard to ensure that those who did break the law are held accountable,” he added.
Kornze’s comments are the first from the BLM since the Nevada standoff, and they come as other clashes between antigovernment “Patriots” and federal agents have popped up around the West.
In Utah, last weekend, antigovernment activists protested restrictions on the use of federal lands by riding ATVs into restricted areas of Recovery Canyon, which were closed to motorized traffic to protect archaeological sites from damage. Megan Crandall, a BLM spokeswoman in Utah, told Hatewatch that there were undercover agents in the Utah crowd documenting who violated federal law, and that the BLM was devoting “substantial resources” to pursue charges there, too.
“The BLM is continuing to investigate and will pursue all available redress through the legal system to hold individuals who broke the law accountable,” Crandall said.
