In 1960 Ike and Tina charted with 'A Fool in Love', and notched singles throughout the '60s, despite the disappointing chart position of River Deep, Mountain High - cited by Phil Spector as one of his best productions. All expectations were fulfilled in 1971 with Proud Mary, which became the capstone of their Revue.
After retiring from stadium stages in 2009, Tina became involved in 'Beyond Musik', a collaboration with music therapist Regula Curti and mantric singer, Dechen Shak-Dagsay. Their 4th album, Awakening, featured the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra recorded at Abbey Road London. In 2014 Warner Music launched Love Songs, a collection of romantic solo material.
Tina's next project was her personal involvement in TINA, The Tina Turner Musical, launched in London in 2018, which explores her legendary life with a new stage for her signature songs.
