A Who’s Who of Trump’s Surrogates 10JUN16

Adolf Hitler salutes troops of the Condor Legion who fought alongside Spanish Nationalists in the Spanish Civil War, during a rally upon their return to Germany, 1939.
QUITE a list of the inane, insane, those with no brain, has been's, wanna be's and never really were's. I'll bet somehow they are all related, come from the same stagnant gene pool. From +AlterNet .....

The KKK and the NRA are among these gems.

President Obama, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden, and hundreds of other elected officials and movement activists will be campaigning for Hillary Clinton.
Some pundits say that Donald Trump has alienated so many people, including other Republicans, that he’ll have problems finding people willing to serve as his surrogates on the campaign trail. Don’t worry. Donald has lots of prominent Americans, representing a broad and diverse spectrum of America, who’ve endorsed him and can be expected to campaign for him.
Here are just a few of those who are likely to stump for Trump. With these folks in his corner, how can he lose?

David Duke (KKK), Phil Robertson (Duck Dynasty), Wayne LaPierre (NRA)

Sheldon Adelson, Ben Carson

Wayne Newton, Ann Coulter, Chris Christie

Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Maine Gov. Paul LePage

Is Marco Rubio a Sleeper Agent for Netanyahu? 8JAN16

marco rubio r FL, senator, 2016 repiglican presidential candidate and rube for Israel. After reading this from +Mother Jones one has to question just who marco rubio plans to serve and protect if he is elected president?

Is Marco Rubio a Sleeper Agent for Netanyahu?

Why else would the GOP presidential candidate oppose US intelligence keeping an eye on Israel?

| Fri Jan. 8, 2016 6:00 AM EST
This week, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) released a television ad that slammed President Barack Obama on several fronts: guns, abortion, climate change (it's not a true threat), and the war on terrorism. In the ad, the almost-top-tier GOP presidential candidate proclaims, "America needs a real commander in chief and a president that will keep us safe." And, as part of his indictment of Obama, Rubio huffs, "He spies on Israel."
Rubio's message seems to be that a strong and effective US leader would not spy on Israel, and that Rubio would not green-light espionage operations that keep an eye on that nation. No doubt, that would delight Israel and its spies, who have long targeted Washington with aggressive espionage operations.
As the Wall Street Journal reported last month, the US intelligence establishment does snoop on Israeli officials. This has outraged conservative supporters of Israel within the United States. But what has such spying unearthed? That Israel spies on the United States.
That's not news. Jonathan Pollard, an American who worked for Navy intelligence, passed a ton of classified information to Israel, in what experts routinely describe as one of the most significant espionage cases in US history. He was caught in 1985, convicted, and sentenced to life in prison. In Israel, though, he was hailed a hero. And for years, Israel and some prominent Jewish Americans, including GOP billionaire Sheldon Adelson, pressed for Pollard's release. (Two months ago, he was finally released on parole.) But Pollard was hardly the only Israeli spook who connived to swipe American secrets.
More recently, Jeff Stein, a veteran journalist on the intelligence beat, reported in Newsweek in 2014 that US intelligence officials discussed the issue at a top-secret congressional briefing, noting:
Israel's espionage activities in America are unrivaled and unseemly…going far beyond activities by other close allies, such as Germany, France, the U.K. and Japan. A congressional staffer familiar with a briefing last January called the testimony "very sobering…alarming…even terrifying." Another staffer called it "damaging."
"No other country close to the United States continues to cross the line on espionage like the Israelis do," a former congressional staffer told Stein. This source disclosed that US intelligence officials had cited "industrial espionage—folks coming over here on trade missions or with Israeli companies working in collaboration with American companies, [or] intelligence operatives being run directly by the government, which I assume meant out of the [Israeli] Embassy." In a follow-up story, Stein noted, "Despite strident denials this week by Israeli officials, Israel has been caught carrying out aggressive espionage operations against American targets for decades, according to U.S. intelligence officials and congressional sources. And they still do it. They just don't get arrested very often."
In 2014 one of the documents obtained by Edward Snowden became public, revealing that the National Security Agency and the US intelligence community had long worried about Israeli spying on the United States. It read:
The Israelis are extraordinarily good SIGINT partners for us, but…they target us to learn our positions on Middle East problems. A NIE [National Intelligence Estimate] ranked them as the third most aggressive intelligence service against the U.S.
A 2007 National Security Agency document, also leaked by Snowden, reported that Israeli intelligence was a leader in mounting "espionage/intelligence collection operations and manipulation/influence operations…against U.S. government, military, science & technology and Intelligence Community” organizations.
As the Wall Street Journal reported last March, Israel spied on the US-led talks with Iran regarding Tehran's nuclear program:
The spying operation was part of a broader campaign by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government to penetrate the negotiations and then help build a case against the emerging terms of the deal, current and former U.S. officials said. In addition to eavesdropping, Israel acquired information from confidential U.S. briefings, informants and diplomatic contacts in Europe, the officials said…
"It is one thing for the U.S. and Israel to spy on each other. It is another thing for Israel to steal U.S. secrets and play them back to U.S. legislators to undermine U.S. diplomacy," said a senior U.S. official briefed on the matter.
And how did the United States discover that Israel was spying on it and using the secrets it obtained to subvert official US policy? By spying on Israel:
The White House discovered the operation, in fact, when U.S. intelligence agencies spying on Israel intercepted communications among Israeli officials that carried details the U.S. believed could have come only from access to the confidential talks.
Following this revelation, Foreign Policy noted, "Jerusalem's ongoing espionage campaign has worried U.S. officials so significantly that they have strenuously opposed an effort on Capitol Hill to include Israel in a regime of visa-free travel, which American spies fear will facilitate the travel of Israeli operatives into the United States."
So back to Rubio. As a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, he presumably is aware of the extensive Israeli intelligence operations against the US government and American businesses. Yet Rubio, a favorite of Likud-loving neocons (and reportedly Adelson), castigates Obama for spying on Israel and its spies. Would he really turn off all US espionage programs focused on Israel, which would give the Israelis a free hand to continue their intelligence operations against the United States? (Is this a plot line for the next season of Homeland?)
I sent the Rubio campaign an email with two questions:
* Does the senator believe that the US government should never mount any intelligence-gathering operations regarding Israel?
* Does the senator believe that the US should not spy on Israel to detect possible Israeli intelligence actions aimed at the United States government, such as the Pollard operation?
The Rubio campaign declined to respond. Without further clarification, Rubio is sending a clear signal: If elected president, he would be good news for the spies of Israel.

THESE REPS & SENATORS WANT CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM, AND ARE BEING TARGETED BY THE RICH AND CORPORATE AMERICA FOR DEFEAT 11APR14

I don't always agree with these politicians, that is natural in a democracy. BUT I take offense that they have been targeted for defeat by the rich, by corporate America, by the evil of the koch brothers, sheldon adelson, and their republican / tea-bagger minions because they actively support campaign finance reform. Take a look at this list and if you can contribute to any of these candidates please click the link.

Help us fight back
Not everyone in Congress supports campaign finance reform. Calling for meaningful reform means putting a target on your own back -- now, special interests and right-wing billionaires know exactly who to come after.
Help fight back against what’s sure to be an onslaught of money in the 2014 election. Whatever you can chip in today, you’ll be making a powerful statement in favor of campaign finance reform.

LISTEN: In Private Speech, Dick Cheney Talks Bombing Iran and GOP Donors Applaud 1APR14

HEEDING the military-industrial complex's demand that their profit margins be increased with our tax dollars and the blood of our military personnel being wasted on another Persian Gulf war, and carrying on the tradition of American politicians to allow American foreign and military policy be dictated by Israel, war criminal +dick cheney continues to promote war with Iran. Listen to the audio of dick (he deserves his name) as he regales his fellow warmongering repiglicans and tea-baggers at the +republican jewish coalition Spring meeting in Las Vegas, and keep this in mind when voting in the 2014 midterm elections and when deciding who to vote for in 2016
| Tue Apr. 1, 2014 7:28 AM PDT
What do former Vice President Dick Cheney, billionaire megadonor Sheldon Adelson, and Republican activists and funders talk about—and applaud—when they're behind closed doors at a Las Vegas hotel? Bombing Iran.
This past weekend, the Republican Jewish Coalition held its spring leadership meeting at Adelson's Venetian hotel, where several possible 2016 contenders, including ex-Gov. Jeb Bush and current Govs. Chris Christie, Scott Walker, and John Kasich, showed up to kiss the ring of the casino magnate, who's looking to bankroll a viable Republican presidential candidate. Though the heavy-on-Israel speeches of the White House wannabes were open to the press, the keynote address delivered by Cheney on Saturday night was off-limits to reporters and the public. But Mother Jones has obtained a recording of Cheney's talk, during which he once again derided President Barack Obama on foreign policy, blasted the isolationists within his own party, assailed critics of the National Security Agency, and seemingly endorsed the idea of an Israeli strike against Iran.
Speaking about the possibility of Iran developing a nuclear weapon, Cheney dismissed Obama's negotiations with Tehran, and he recalled a dinner meeting he had in 2007 with Israeli General Amos Yadlin. Yadlin had flown in the Israeli Defense Force's mission in 1981 that destroyed Iraq's Osirak nuclear reactor, and he was the country's military intelligence chief in 2007 when the Israel Defense Forces obliterated Syria's nuclear reactor in the Deir ez-Zor region. Recalling his conversation with Yadlin, Cheney said, "He looked across the table over dinner, and he said, 'Two down, one to go.' I knew exactly what he meant."
"One to go" was an obvious reference to bombing Iran's nuclear program. The crowd responded approvingly with laughter and applause. (Last October, Adelson publicly proposed that the US drop a nuclear bomb in the Iranian desert to show Tehran what will happen to Iran if it develops nuclear weapons.)

During his behind-closed-doors talk, Cheney took multiple shots at Obama. The former vice president said Obama has been a bust at home and abroad, proving to be a weak commander-in-chief and failing to project strength around the world. "The bottom line is," Cheney groused, "the United States' position in [the Middle East] is worse than at any time in my lifetime." He added, "It's reached the point where Israel and Egypt, [the United Arab] Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Jordan are closer to one another—imagine that!—than any of them is to us…Nobody who's been our friend in the past any longer has any sense of trust in we'll keep our commitments, that we'll be there in a crisis when they need us. On the other hand, none of our adversaries need fear us." Noting that the chief responsibility of a president is to protect the United States against "all enemies, foreign and domestic," Cheney claimed that today that charge "is not being pursued in any kind of coherent manner."
Without naming names, Cheney also slammed the less hawkish members of his own party—such as Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.)—for believing that the United States "can afford to turn its back on that part of the world," referring to the Middle East. "One of the things that concerns me first about the campaign, that I'm worried about," he said, "is what I sense to be an increasing strain of isolationism, if I can put it in those terms, in our own party. It's not taking over, by any means, but there is without question a body of thought now that's supported by many Republicans and some candidates that the United States can afford to turn its back on that part of the world." Cheney complained that "some candidates" think that the Middle East is "not our problem…Bring the boys home. There's no reason in the world for us to be involved in that part of the world." But, he remarked, "anybody who thinks back on the problems of 9/11" knows "it makes absolutely no sense at all for us to contemplate that course of action."
Cheney devoted much of his speech to defending the National Security Agency and its massive collection programs. There is the belief, he said, "that we have created in the National Security Agency this monster bureaucracy that's reading everybody's mail, listening to everybody's phone calls, infringing upon our civil liberties and civil rights. Hogwash." He claimed that there has not been a single case of NSA abusing its authority. (Cheney must have missed this and this.) And he asserted that if these programs had been in place, "it probably would've allowed us to stop 9/11." Not surprisingly, he blamed the NSA's current woes on Obama: "We don't have a president who can stand up and defend the program. Nobody believes him—for good reason. Look what he did with health care."
