Registered to vote? ARE YOU SURE? WANT TO REGISTER TO VOTE????

ARE YOU REGISTERED TO VOTE? ARE YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS? CLICK THE LINK TO REGISTER AND VOTE ON 6NOV12!
Republicans are doing everything they can to stop people from voting. The only way we'll win is to make sure progressives turn out on Election Day—and registering to vote is the first step. You can register by clicking here:

Are you registered to vote? Are you sure? Are all your friends and family registered voters?
I hope so, because Mitt Romney and the rest of the Republicans are doing everything they can to STOP people from voting. In some states they're using discriminatory voter suppression laws, in some they're flooding airwaves with deceptive negative ads—but the goal is the same. They know that a low turnout election is their surest path to victory.
Most Americans share our values—they want to protect Medicare and Social Security, they want the rich to pay their fair share in taxes, they want to invest in education and jobs. If everyone voted, Republicans wouldn't stand a chance.
But the fact is, too many of them aren't voters—and millions of progressives aren't even registered. Let's change that right now.
Voting registration deadlines are coming up fast, so we just set up moveon.org/vote to help people nationwide register before it's too late.
You might think everyone you know is already registered, but now is the time to double-check and pass this email along. Asking a friend or family member is one of the most effective ways to get someone to register to vote. It's our responsibility to reach out and make sure all progressives are registered voters who get to the polls on Election Day.
If you know anyone who is not a registered voter, who has moved recently, or if you're not sure whether someone is a registered voter, forward this email and ask your friends and family to register here:
In 2008, 6 million people didn't vote because they missed a deadline or didn't know how to register.1 This election is going to come down to how many progressives turn out, and it all starts with registering in time.
Thanks for all you do.

P.S. Americans living abroad now must re-register every year in order to vote. Americans overseas can register online here: https://www.votefromabroad.org/

Are you registered to vote? Are you sure?

Voter registration deadlines are coming up, and the stakes are high this election. If you’re not registered to vote at your current address, or if you're not sure, please click the link below and ask your friends and family to do the same. Our new voter registration tool makes it easy:
Big corporations are spending more than ever to buy this election, and right-wing politicians are trying to suppress our vote using every trick in the book.1 But if enough of us prepare, get organized, and show up at the polls, nothing will be able to drown out our voices. But it starts with making sure that you and your family members and friends are registered to vote.
If you’ve moved recently or you’re not sure about your registration status, play it safe and register (there’s no harm in re-registering). Click the link to get started with our new voter registration tool:
ColorOfChange members have already made a huge impact on our democracy this year. Because of our voices, 38 major companies have stopped funding ALEC, the right-wing lobbying group that worked to suppress the votes of Black folks and others across the country.2 It shows that we have tremendous power to hold corporations and politicians accountable.
Now it's time to bring our power to the ballot box. In 2008, Black voters turned out in huge numbers in key states like Virginia, Ohio, North Carolina and Florida, playing a huge role in electing Barack Obama.3 We need to be just as active this year — again, the results of the election may depend on how many of us turn out to vote.4 The right wing knows this, and that's why they are trying hard to suppress our votes.5
So ColorOfChange has made getting ready for election day easy. Please register to vote now, and encourage your friends and family to do the same. It’ll take just a moment, and it could make a huge difference in November and beyond.
Thanks and Peace,
-- Rashad, Dani, Matt, Arisha, Aimée, Johnny and the rest of the ColorOfChange.org team
