hillary clinton hosted a fundraiser on Friday night at george clooney's house. Couples attending had to pay, I mean donate to,  hillary's victory fund $353,000 for a seat at the table. One of hillary's friends who has donated to her campaign and associated super pacs is alice walton of the wal-mart waltons. Feature this, hillary is accepting campaign contributions from the likes of the waltons, employer of tens of thousands who make so little they qualify for government assistance and yet hillary claimed at Thursday's Democratic presidential debate she supports raising the minimum wage to $15.00 an hour! I can't come up with that kind of money to get hillary to listen to me about ANYTHING! Fortunately I don't have to, Bernie Sanders isn't checking to see if I donated to his campaign before acting on my behalf because he has been working for the 99% all his political career. We need to elect Bernie Sanders our next president, and we can only do that if we support his campaign by registering to vote and then actually voting, with our donations of whatever one can afford, and volunteering for the campaign whenever we can. Tonight Hillary Clinton is hosting a fundraiser at the home of a California venture capitalist where couples contributing $353,000 get to sit at a table with George Clooney.

Now, you know where this campaign stands on George Clooney. YUGE fans.But a political contribution of $353,000?!??! That’s just an obscene amount of money.

And while the Clinton campaign repeatedly claims this money to her “Victory Fund” goes toward supporting the DNC, campaign finance records show they’ve spent millions of those dollars to subsidize their own campaign. It is, let’s just say, a very creative way to use enormous checks from people like Alice Walton (yes, Wal-Mart) to cover what would otherwise be campaign expenses.

So, we’ve set another ambitious goal, because that’s what this campaign is about: setting ambitious goals and watching people come together to meet them. Here it is:

New York votes in just three days, and we have a chance to shock the world right in Hillary Clinton’s backyard. Over 19,000 people came to see Bernie at a rally in the Bronx. Then 27,000 joined him at Washington Square Park. And last night chants of Bernie! Bernie! Bernie! echoed through the debate venue after Bernie’s closing remarks. We can do this. Maybe not in $353,000 chunks, but $78 at a time.

NOT only are you paying more than what shows on your receipt every time you shop at walmart (the wages of their employees are so low the majority qualify for social safety new programs funded by your tax dollars) the waltons are so selfish, so greedy, they give very little of their wealth to charity. Just another reason to reconsider your decision if you shop at walmart, and reinforces my decision not to shop at walmart since 1989. From +Mother Jones

The Walmart heirs are infamous for their wealth and penny-pinching. Christy, Jim, Alice, and Rob Walton wouldn't be the sixth-, seventh-, eighth-, and ninth-richest Americans, respectively, if not for Walmart's relentless exploitation of its low-wage workers. But the Waltons' stinginess also extends to their philanthropy. According to a new analysis by the union-backed Making Change at Walmart campaign, the Walton scions give way less money to charity than other über-rich Americans. In fact, the six other richest Americans have each donated many times more money to philanthropic causes than all four Walton heirs combined:

Typically, the extremely wealthy give a higher portion of their incomes to charity than middle and upper-middle income Americans. After all, you can only buy so many yachts, vacation homes, and Teslas before you start to look for other ways to spend money. But that doesn't seem to be true for the Waltons, who've redefined what it means to be a Scrooge. Americans' average net worth is about $650,000 per household (the median is only about $70,000), and the average annual charitable donation is about $3,000 per household. Meanwhile, the average Walton has a net worth of $36 billion and gives about $730,000 to charity each year. This means that the four richest Waltons have, on average, a net worth that's 55,000 times higher than that of the average American household, yet give, as a percent of that wealth, about 1/230th as much to charity in a typical year:
