Donald Trump reiterates love for 'handsome' NFL star after being asked for Super Bowl pick
Trump was posed the question by ESPN reporter Laura Rutledge during his attendance at the 2026 finale of the Patriot Games in Ohio, held as part of the nation's America 250 celebration.
The President highlighted the New England Patriots, the New York Giants, and the Los Angeles Rams as teams worth watching this season, while once again singling out Dart for special mention. It comes after Trump 'picked golf club manager' to lead botched Reflecting Pool renovation.
"I'll pick a few. I think New England looks good," he said. "I think the Giants. I like their quarterback a lot.
"I think that they say the LA Rams are looking very strong, but I better not get into this too much. I'm gonna get myself in trouble if I do," he continued.
"I think you have a lot of good teams. A lot of great teams and we'll see how it turns out. I'll be watching."
Despite Trump stopping short of fully committing to a single Super Bowl pick, fans were quick to highlight the President's clear fascination with the Giants quarterback. Trump has previously referred to Dart as "a male model," called him "handsome" and "like a beautiful guy," and even quipped, "I wish I looked just like Jaxson."
The President complimented Dart's legs, describing them as "tree trunks" before characterizing the Giants QB as a "conservative guy."
Trump dubbed Dart a future Pro Football Hall of Famer and has even stated Dart returned the sentiment, telling him, "I love you, sir."
Dart introduced Trump at a Republican rally at Rockland Community College in Suffern, New York, on May 22 and initially maintained his position wasn't political.
The Giants QB explained he accepted the invitation because of his deep love for America, referencing his family's extensive history of military service and his great-grandfather's tenure as Treasury Secretary.
