Defend our nation by voting for the Democratic and / or Democratic Socialist of America candidates by or on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026 and show drumpf/trump WE ARE WHAT DEMOCRACY LOOKS LIKE!!! Even when false information is shared unintentionally or even well-meaningly, it can make people feel less secure about our voting process. And when people are less trusting of our democracy, politicians can take advantage of those fears to push forward voter suppression measures, making it harder for everyday people to cast a ballot. Now, let's talk about one of the most common targets of these efforts: mail-in voting. What's happening with mail-in voting?Mail-in voting is a secure way for millions of Americans to cast their ballots. If you choose to vote by mail, know your state's deadlines and requirements, and return your ballot as early as possible. Mail-in ballots are still ballots, and they are counted through the same verified processes, just like ballots cast in person. Restrictions on mail-in voting have been built on the false claim of widespread voter fraud – a problem that simply does not exist. The real impact of restricting mail ballots is more straightforward. The voters who rely on it most, including disabled voters, elderly voters, overseas service members, and anyone whose work or family responsibilities make it difficult to vote in person, will lose access to the ballot box. Why is mail-in voting such a target for voter suppression efforts?Attacking mail-in voting is just one part of a strategic effort to make voting harder. We're seeing the same playbook right now with the so-called SAVE America Act. This bill would demand proof of citizenship just to register to vote – creating unnecessary hurdles for millions of eligible Americans who don't have easy access to documents like a passport or birth certificate. No politician should get to make it harder for eligible voters to exercise one of our most fundamental rights. Whether the target of these attacks is voting by mail or voter registration, the goal is the same: keeping Americans from the ballot box. Planning to vote by mail?  MY E MAILS TO REP SUBRAMANYAM D-VA 10th, SEN WARNER D-VA AND SEN KAINE D-VA Reject all anti-voter bills immediately I’m writing to urge you to reject the SAVE Act, SAVE America Act, MEGA Act, and all other anti-voter legislation. These dangerous bills create new and unnecessary barriers to voting that shuts millions of eligible U.S. citizens out of our democracy and results in voter purges that strip us of our freedom to vote. These bills would also effectively end online and mail voter registration, make vote by mail more difficult to access, and allow the federal government to interfere with state and local elections. These bills are part of the extreme right wing's goal of replacing our democratic Republic with a neo-nazi fascist authoritarian theocratic oligarchy. They must be defeated. If passed, these bills could disenfranchise millions of voters, especially naturalized citizens, voters of color, voters with disabilities, young and older voters, rural voters, and voters with low incomes. They would require voters to present a passport or birth certificate in person just to register to vote, impose criminal liability on hardworking election officials, criminalize practices that help older voters and those with disabilities cast their ballots, and require states to hand over private voter data to the federal government. These bills aren’t about keeping our elections free and fair. They’re about politicians setting the stage to interfere with election results they don’t like.
