My friend Marsha died on Tuesday, 5FEB13

SHE was good people, the wife of Richard "Dick" Wadsworth Sr, step-mother of my brother-in-law Richard Wadsworth JR,  lived back home in Warren County, PA. Marsha was a lot of fun and I am glad I was on a few family trips to Colorado that she was part of, have some great pictures. I am especially glad she was in CO with the rest of us when we all gathered for Thanksgiving at Dick & Sheila's 5 years ago. But last August she went to the doctor because she hadn't been feeling well and test revealed she was full of cancer, every organ was cancerous. She tried chemo, it made her violently sick and treatment was not going to give her much more time and no quality time. So on Tuesday morning Marsha told her gathered family she was ready for this to be over and at 0635 passed away, and as I write this I can see Marsha's face and she isn't in pain, she is smiling. Godspeed Marsha, I am glad all is well with your soul.

Marcia Eckman, 72, of Warren, Pa. died Tuesday morning, February 5, 2013 at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice Home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born February 3, 1941 in Warren, Pa. to the late Marshall and Edith Eldridge Dahl. She was a lifelong Warren area resident and was employed with the former New Process Company in the mailing dept., retiring after 24 years employment. She was a member Hessell Valley Church where she enjoyed spending time with her friends. Marcia was a very family oriented woman, who dearly loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to travel, was a huge fan of the New York Jets and especially loved former quarterback, Joe Namath. She loved spoiling her animals and gardening.

She is survived by her soulmate and best friend, Richard "Dick" Wadsworth of Warren, Pa., her children Jill Morley and husband, Jerry of Warren, Pa., Danny Eckman and wife, Maureen of West Middlesex, Pa., Darlene Hintz of Jamestown, NY, Dickie Wadsworth of Denver, Colo., 2 Sisters Sabra Ristau of Warren, Pa., Laura Greenwald of Las Vegas, Nv., 2 Brothers Elwin "Sonny" Nichols and wife, Marie of Tenn., Calvin Nichols and wife, Alberta of Lakeland, Fla., grandchildren Ashley, Chelsea, Alexandra, Logan, Donna, Jerry, Rachel, Kelly, Corrie, and J.R., Kyle, Shelby and Mark. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sons Lee Eckman and Herbie Wadsworth, and 1 Brother Butch Dahl.
