VICTOR AIRWAYS INTERSECTION ROBRT MULRR

CampDavid.jpg
This is a sectional chart published by the FAA for pilots.  The blue lines are called Victor Airways and are basically highways in the sky.  Every intersection of Victor Airways is given a 5-letter identification that is always somewhat pronounceable.  I am in eastern Pa and the intersections around here are names like “SNOWY,” “BEERS,” “BOPLY,” “SPUDS,” and “HAILS.”  Please take note of the only two intersections in the above image that is in the vicinity of the Presidential retreat at Camp David in Maryland and tell me that is a coincidence.
Thanks to Pixxer who points out that the names for these intersections date back to at least 2005.
