donald drumpf is doing everything possible to distract the American people from the tape showing him bragging about his sexual assault on women. While it seems very unlikely the drumpf/trump-pence ticket will be elected to the presidency / vice-presidency we can not become complacent. There are more tapes in the vaults controlled by mgm showing drumpf/trump to be the narcissistic, sexist, racist, depraved and DEPLORABLE person he is, showing him totally unfit to be qualified to be president. On Friday evening, The Washington Post published an account of a video recording of Trump in which the openly racist and fascist Republican candidate talks about women in ways that are beyond offensive.1 The Associated Press had previously reported that Trump “repeatedly demeaned women with sexist language, according to show insiders who said he rated female contestants by the size of their breasts and talked about which ones he'd like to have sex with.”2
According to earlier reports, Mark Burnett, the creator and executive producer of “The Apprentice,” was reportedly threatening to sue his own employees in order to hide more evidence of Donald Trump’s outrageous behavior on the show – which may even include video of Trump using a racial epithet.3
After facing a massive public outcry, yesterday afternoon Burnett denied those reports as “unequivocally false” and claimed “MGM owns Mark Burnett’s production company and the Apprentice is one of its properties.” Burnett added “various contractual and legal requirements also restrict MGM’s ability to release” the tapes.4
Either way, this may be all on tape, which MGM is keeping from the American people. The American people deserve as much information as possible about this misogynistic, unqualified demagogue who could end up with the country’s nuclear codes.
The New York Daily News reported in detail what may be on the tapes, and If any of that is true, the American people deserve to know.5 To date, Trump has lied about and obfuscated his racism, xenophobia and misogyny – and gotten away with it. He still tried to claim in last night's debate that he respects women.
With the release of Friday’s bombshell report that further exposed Trump as a serial misogynist, we need to do everything we can to release other Trump tapes to further expose his vile and deplorable racism.
It’s now clear that supporting a Trump presidency means not only standing with a dangerous demagogue who is undermining our democracy, but aiding and abetting a full-scale assault on human decency.
The election is less than 30 days away. Waiting until after the election would only risk even greater chaos. The time to ramp up the pressure is now.
