Two of the boldest progressives in the Senate -- my friends Al Franken in Minnesota and Jeff Merkley in Oregon -- are in tough re-election battles.
Thanks to a ton of right-wing Super PAC attack ads, the polls in both races keep getting closer and closer.
This is our team on the line. Losing them would be a disaster.
It would shrink the number of real, bold progressives we can rely on in the Senate. And it would likely mean losing the Senate majority and spending the next two years putting everything we believe in on hold.
And just imagine what will happen if a Supreme Court vacancy comes up while Republicans are in the majority in the Senate. Or what will happen to our efforts to hold Wall Street and its regulators accountable. It won’t be pretty.
The PCCC is going all out to defend these two bold progressives and keep all of us in the majority. Can you help?

And Jeff has been my mentor and ally in the Senate Banking Committee, working feverishly to hold Wall Street accountable for breaking the law.
Without Al and Jeff -- and playing defense in the minority in the Senate -- is not how I want to spend the next two years.
Can you chip in $3 to make sure Al, Jeff, and I can keep fighting together in the Senate?
