Vowing to overturn even the slightest attempt to protect an open Internet, Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli has threatened to sue the FCC for daring to pass Net Neutrality rules.
We at Free Press are joining our friends at the Open Source Democracy Foundation (OSDF) in a stand against Cuccinelli. Please sign their letter to the Attorney General condemning his stance against free speech online:
Cuccinelli isn’t content to sue the FCC himself. He’s also urging other attorneys general to jump on board as well.
The Virginia Attorney General has made overturning public interest protections a hallmark of his tenure. In just 18 months, he’s attacked federal and local environmental protections and aspects of the new federal health care law. Now he has it out for the open Internet.
Don’t let Net Neutrality fall prey to Cuccinelli’s attacks. Take action now with the OSDF to stop this misguided effort.
