Destruction of a genetically modified sugar beet crop has been stayed by a 3-judge panel of the 9th Circuit Court, pending a ruling on an appeal. The original order to destroy the crop was issued Dec. 1 after Earthjustice sued on behalf of farmers and conservation groups concerned about cross-contamination with other crops.
