The United Nations is sponsoring a crucial climate conference in Paris this December—but Big Polluters are doing everything they can to scuttle & undermine it.
Sign the petition: Join Daily Kos and allies in urging the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change to kick the fossil fuel industry out of the Paris conference.
We need a strong outcome from the Paris talks in order to seize the momentum of a growing global movement, and to urge leaders to take bolder action to address the climate crisis.
But the fossil fuel industry and other transnational corporations that have a vested interest in stopping progress, continue to delay, weaken, and block climate policy at every level.
We can stop Big Polluters from sabotaging the U.N. climate talks, just like we stopped Big Tobacco a decade ago from undermining international health conferences.
