WITH everything we have gone through as a nation this week it is easy to become judgemental, but as a nation who claims Christianity as the principle the country was founded on, the religion that guides us, it would be good for all of us to consider Christ's interaction with people of nationalities considered Israel's enemies and these words
When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, ‘Let anyone among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.’ And once again he bent down and wrote on the ground. When they heard it, they went away, one by one, beginning with the elders; and Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him.

- John 8:7-9

While it is necessary to try in a court of law those who have committed the terrible crimes in Boston, it is also necessary to do it within the law, without malice and hate for the accused and those of his nationality and faith. Failure to do so will make us no better than the accused.....
