I'm not going to identify in the above pictures who is the child rapist and who is the judge guilty of perverting justice because this is so disgusting one is as bad as the other. While the mainstream media is focused on the harvey weinstein sex scandal UltraViolet and others are mobilizing public outrage and directing it to the Michigan Judicial Commission. Please sign this petition calling on the commission to remove Judge gregory s ross from the bench and to bar him from ever becoming a judge again. Actions like this by UltraViolet and others have resulted in the discipline of other judges who have committed travesties of justice and together we can get Judge ross removed too.
I signed, and added this comment to the petition, "This is a gross, sickening travesty of justice that can not be allowed to stand and Judge Gregory S Ross can not be allowed to remain on the bench where he might issue rulings in favor of other convicted rapist."
PLEASE, click the link and sign the petition and share with family and friends. From UltraViolet......
Last week, Michigan Judge Gregory S. Ross granted a rapist joint custody of his victim's eight-year-old son.
Christopher Mirasolo was convicted of raping the woman when she was 12 years old, resulting in her pregnancy. Nine years later, after the woman applied for assistance from the state, Judge Ross gave Mirasolo the woman's address, ordered that Mirasolo be added to the child's birth certificate, and granted him custody rights and parenting time--all without her consent.1
This sickening case has already caused nationwide outrage and is believed to be the first of its kind in the U.S. The Michigan Judicial Commission, which has initiated the removal of numerous judges for ethics violations, is closely watching the public's reaction. If tens of thousands of us pile onto the outrage, we can push the Commission to call for Judge Ross's removal. Will you sign the petition?
Tell the Michigan Judicial Commission: Initiate the removal of Judge Gregory S. Ross from the bench.

UltraViolet members have succeeded in holding accountable two judges who sympathized with rapists in the past--Judge G. Todd Baugh of Montana was censured after blaming a 14-year-old child for being raped, and Judge Aaron Persky of California was kicked off of criminal cases after sentencing Brock Turner to a few months in jail for raping an unconscious woman.2 We can do it again with Judge Ross for giving rights to Mirasolo, a violent rapist, while attacking the rights of a survivor.
In 2008, Mirasolo went to jail for kidnapping and raping a 12-year-old child and her 13-year old sister. Then in 2010, Mirasolo again went to jail for raping another child who was between 13 and 15 years old. Despite that, Judge Ross ordered the woman he raped and her child, who are now living in Florida, to come back to Michigan so Mirasolo can have a relationship with the child.3
Although this case is unique, as of 2016 seven states didn't have any laws preventing rapists from claiming parental rights.4 Twenty states and Washington, D.C. require a rape conviction (only in 7 out of 1,000 rapes will a perpetrator ever get convicted)5 for a survivor to block the rapist from claiming parental rights.6 This is a nationwide problem--getting rid of the likes of Judge Gregory S. Ross will be a victory for survivors' rights all over the country.
The survivor and her son are now seeking protection under the federal Rape Survivor Child Custody Act. But this wouldn't have been necessary were it not for Judge Ross. If we can push the Michigan Judicial Committee to remove him, we can protect survivors who may fall victim to his court in the future and send a message to all judges.
Thanks for speaking out!
