Coal Dust Won't Choke Longview
Coal train.The noise and choking dust of a coal shipping terminal will not be plaguing Longview, WA. Earthjustice played a leading role in rallying citizen outcry against the proposed terminal. Its would-be builders withdrew their application for the time being.  Read

Industry Yields On Col. Regulations
In the face of stiff opposition led by Earthjustice, the petroleum industry has abandoned another effort to roll back Colorado's environmentally protective oil and gas regulations adopted in 2008.  Read More
Kansas Coal Back On Hold
A federal judge has agreed with Earthjustice that the federal government failed to consider environmental impacts of the proposed Sunflower coal-fired power plant expansion in Kansas. The ruling could force the government to conduct an environmental impact review process on the proposed plant.  Read More

Clean water advocates won the first round in a legal fight to prevent the Hatfield's Ferry coal-fired power plant in Pennsylvania from dumping polluted water into the Monongahela River. Read More
