    Below is a video which purportedly shows Gaddafi troops entering the outskirts of Benghazi on March 19, the day foreign airstrikes began.

    A resident from Benghazi received this footage from one of his friends and has chosen to share it with Al Jazeera. They believe the clip was taken off a dead Gaddafi soldier.

    Al Jazeera has not been able to independently verify these accounts or this footage.

    Anti-aircraft fire and explosions have been heard in the Libyan capital Tripoli, however, it is not clear who exactly is being targeted in the attacks.
     
    Meanwhile, NATO has continued its air assault on Muammar Gaddafi's forces in the eastern town of Brega.
    Rebel forces are reportedly advancing on the oil town, as they push on from nearby Ajdabiya.
    "On a dirt track off the main Brega highway doctors and a surgeon prepare for the next wave of casualties despite all the talk of help on the international stage … people are still dying here every day," Sue Turton, Al Jazeera's correspondent in Brega, said.

    More than 20 rebel fighters were wounded and at least six were killed during fighting on the road between Ajdabiya and Brega yesterday.

    In the image below a severely wounded rebel fighter flashes the victory sign in the emergency ward of Ajdabiya hospital.
