THERE has been an anti-bullying campaign nationwide the past few years, but I guess it doesn't apply to rep michael grimm r tb NY. This confrontation was more than name calling, from the initial story on 29 JAN 14, at the end of Scotto interviewing grimm in the Capital rotunda....
"I'm not speaking about anything's that off-topic, this is only about the president," Grimm told Scotto before walking away.
Then, while the camera was still recording, Grimm returned to say:
"Let me be clear to you, you ever do that to me again I'll throw you off this f——-g balcony."
Scotto asked: "Why? Why? This is a valid question."
To which Grimm said: "No, no, you're not man enough, you're not man enough. I'll break you in half. Like a boy."
So much for the US House's Ethics Committee's ethics, but maybe mikey threatened them too. From the +Washington Post .....

The
House Ethics Committee says it will not investigate the angry
confrontation between Rep. Michael Grimm (R-N.Y.) and a television
reporter that occurred on the night of the State of the Union.
The ethics panel said in a statement Wednesday that the confrontation had been referred to them for investigation, but in a statement the committee said it would defer to the Justice Department as it continues a wide-ranging investigation into Grimm after charging him in connection to a restaurant business he operated before entering Congress in 2011.
Grimm turned himself in to authorities in late April and said he would fight the charges. He is running for reelection and easily won an uncontested primary Tuesday night.
On the night of the State of the Union in February, Grimm angrily confronted NY1 reporter Michael Scotto as they wrapped up an interview. Footage of the incident showed the Staten Island congressman ending the interview after Scotto asked him about allegations of campaign finance wrongdoing that had been part of the years-long federal probe.
Grimm apologized for his behavior the next day, and Scotto later said he accepted the apology.
