Habitat Update from Habitat for Humanity International 30MAR12

I always look forward to the e mail newsletters from Habitat For Humanity, they are full of joy and happiness and hope. Here is the latest edition and I especially want to point out the articles updating Habitat's work in Haiti. I have included a video of some Hatians singing that old and beautiful hymn "How Great Thou Art" in Santo, their new village of homes built buy the residents with help from 400 Habitat volunteers in NOV 2011. They were singing during the ceremony thanking and saying good-bye to the Habitat volunteers. The simple harmonies are beautiful, these people are singing from deep in their souls...and as you listen to their song, and see the video of their new homes and the expressions of thanks, love and friendship to the volunteers you can't help but be moved, it brought tears to my eyes. Everything these people experienced before, during and after the earthquake of 2010, the seemingly small and simple homes they now inhabit, their lack of earthly possessions, none of that has stiffled their faith or silenced their voices. SO enjoy all these articles about Habitat's work in Haiti and around the world, and share this with others if you want, and if you can make a donation to keep their good work going.
