Unofficial Results - General Election - November 5, 2013

Here are the unofficial election results from the Virginia State Board of Elections. It is interesting that Lt Gov elect Sen Ralph S Northam D and Attorney General (race still to be decided) candidate Sen Mark R Herring D both received more votes than Gov elect Terry McAuliffe D. To me that shows just who people really trust and McAuliffe was the lesser of two evils in the governor's race. JENNIFER BOYSKO, the Bold Progressive Democratic Party candidate for Delegate from the 86th district (my district) did us proud. She trails tom rust, the repiglican tea-bagger incumbent, by 56 votes. This shows that every vote does count, and if you need more proof, in Westmoreland County cuccinelli got 2116 votes, McAuliffe 2115. This is the closest rust has come to loosing his seat since he was elected in 2002, and he is on notice that the people of the 86th are not going to tolerate his being a spineless puppet of the the right wing extremist in Richmond. He is going to have to represent all the people of the district.
