A LOT of people bitch about the taxes they have to pay, and the common refrain is "I'm not getting anything for the taxes I pay". Well, here is a way to find out just what you are getting for your tax dollars, click the header or go to the widget on this blog. Personally, I resent the 26.3% of the taxes I paid going to defense spending, enriching the military-industrial complex while only 4.8% went to education and job training. By the by, that BIG boogy man sucking our taxes dollars away, "blown" on international affairs (includes, but not exclusively foreign aid) is 1.7% of my taxes.
