TOO many people don't vote, a very sad commentary on the state of our democracy. If making election day a federal holiday boost voter turnout for all political parties I'm all for it. We have nothing to loose by giving this a try, and if Pres Obama declares, by executive order, election day, 8 NOV 16, a federal holiday the results might motivate congress to make each national election day a federal holiday.
