100 ways to Draw the Line (stop the keystone xl pipeline) 5SEP13

350.ORG's DAY OF ACTION against the keystone xl pipeline on 21 SEP 13 is gaining steam with over 100 events being planned across the country. We can not trust the Obama administration to do the right thing and deny permission for the pipeline to be built. We need to keep up the pressure on the White House and the State Department deny transcanada pipeline access to U.S. Gulf ports to export their filthy tar sands oil.  We can not risk the environmental damage to the Midwest and the pollution of the Ogallala Aquifer and must not be part of the further destruction of the Alberta tundra and the release of millions of tons of carbon into the atmosphere. The Draw the Line on Keystone XL day of action is really gaining steam. I've been in touch with folks from Philadelphia to New Orleans to Seattle, and everyone I talk to has something amazing afoot for September 21st.
And it's taking off just about everywhere: there are now well over 100 events being planned, targeting Keystone XL and tar sands pollution of all kinds.
