RACHEL Maddow made a very profound statement a couple of nights ago on her show while discussing the david petraeus affair. I am sure many, many people heard it but I have to wonder just how many HEARD it. To paraphrase her she said 'The nation's attention is focused on the controversy of the extra-marital affair of david petraeus and the fbi investigation while we are still at war in Afghanistan and most Americans aren't paying attention to it'. Mother Jones has been running a daily series for quite some time titled We're Still at War: Photo of the Day, here is the photo for Monday, 12NOV12 to remind all of us what we should be focused on....
