YESTERDAY I went to the funeral of Steve Dapogny, and a woman sang Amazing Grace acapella, and the words and music came from deep in her soul and I know were a comfort to Steve's family as they were to all of us there. Here are two versions of the song, one by the great Mahalia Jackson followed by a version by the Soweto Gospel Choir.
BUCKNACKT'S SORDID TAWDRY BLOG We should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive & well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate, bier or wein in hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WHOO-HOO, WHAT A RIDE!!!!!!"
