WAS IT A SHOOTING STAR OR A METEOR???12JUL11
WAY COOL!!!! I was on my balcony in Herndon about 2215, it faces North, and I saw a big greenish-white ball with a tail fall from the sky in the direction of Dranesville / Great Falls / Potomac. It was pretty low in the sky and there were bits falling off it.....wonder if anyone else in the area saw it?
